 Valor Christian got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Titus Huard out in front who threw for 274 yards and a pair of  TDs while completing 82.4% of his passes, and also punched in one rushing score.  Cash Spence did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 121  receiving yards.
ThunderRidge's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Valor Christian,  the  victory made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 6-2.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming  matchups. ThunderRidge will take on Castle View at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Valor Christian, they will square off against Fruita Monument at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The Eagles will be up against the Wildcats' rather soft defense (which has allowed 30  points per  contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
