It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Panther Creek Panthers had no problem doing just that on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Pirates 49-21 on the road. The victory was nothing new for Panther Creek as they're now sitting on nine straight.
Leading Panther Creek to victory were Sentel Simpson and Braxton Roberts. Simpson rushed for 115 yards and three touchdowns, while Roberts rushed for 38 yards and two touchdowns. Ace Traylor was another key contributor, picking up 106 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Panther Creek's victory bumped their record up to 11-1. As for La Vega, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-5.
Panther Creek will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Anna at 7:30 p.m. on November 24th. Anna is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. La Vega does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
