The Christiansburg Blue Demons will square off against the Hidden Valley Titans at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Both teams are coming into the  contest red-hot, with Christiansburg sitting on  22 straight  victories and Hidden Valley on three.

Christiansburg won the last time they faced Blacksburg and  Reese Hall did her part to make sure it happened again. The Blue Demons came out on top in a nail-biter against the Bruins on Monday, sneaking past  3-2 with plenty of help from  Hall, who  had 28  digs and 15  aces. She has been hot, having  posted 11 or more  digs the last six times she's  played.
 Christiansburg wouldn't go down easily and took Blacksburg into a fifth set  where they got it done with a seven-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-9, 25-27, 22-25,  15-8.
The home team had won the previous four meetings between Hidden Valley and Patrick Henry, and Hidden Valley kept the tradition alive. The Titans came out on top against the Patriots by a score of  3-1  on Monday.
 Hidden Valley had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-13, 25-22,  25-15.
 Christiansburg's win bumped their record up to 22-0. As for Hidden Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 22-5.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of  Thursday's  match:  Christiansburg has really dialed in their serving  this season,  having  averaged 11.2  aces per game. However, it's not like Hidden Valley struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 9  aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
 Everything went Christiansburg's way against Hidden Valley when the teams last played  on October 2nd, as Christiansburg made off with  a  3-0 win. Will the Blue Demons repeat their success,  or do  the Titans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
