Owen was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Wednesday as the team picked up their 12th straight  loss  dating back to last season. They lost  10-3 to the Asheville Christian Academy Lions. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warhorses of the  10-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in March of 2016.
 Owen saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Josh Nichols, who  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with one  RBI.
Owen's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Asheville Christian Academy,  the  win  got them back to even at 3-3.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Owen will venture away from home to  face off against Avery County  at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. We've got a battle between Lions coming up.
