Brother Rice (Chicago, Ill.) captured the lead on a touchdown run with 1:00 left in the fourth quarter to beat
St. Rita (Chicago, Ill.) 23-21 on Saturday.
The two teams were tied at 14 heading into halftime. The Crusaders took the lead for good on a rushing touchdown in the fourth quarter.

John Kelley was the standout player for his team. The senior quarterback threw two touchdowns.
The victory will ease some of the sting of Brother Rice's close 21-17 loss to St. Rita last season.
The loss comes after St. Rita defeated Fenwick 38-15 last week. The loss snapped SR's 2-game winning streak.
In a Chicago Catholic - Blue game next week St. Rita (2-2) takes on Providence Catholic, and Brother Rice (3-1) will go up against Mount Carmel also in a Chicago Catholic - Blue game.
