Dreyfoos School of the Arts has been on the road for four straight, but on Thursday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Village Academy Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
Last Monday, Dreyfoos School of the Arts was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 51-50 to Boca Raton Christian.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Nate Goldin, who scored 16 points. Zidane Guerrier was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with six rebounds.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Village Academy, who are still winless after their 16th match. They took a hard 61-45 fall against Dr. Joaquin Garcia on Thursday.
Dreyfoos School of the Arts dropped their record down to 6-9 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Village Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-16.
Dreyfoos School of the Arts was able to grind out a solid victory over Village Academy in their previous meeting back in November of 2023, winning 52-45.
