Mulberry has been on a difficult stretch since their win on November 10. They fell 4-2 to the Fort Meade Miners on Wednesday. Mulberry were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Fort Meade apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2019.

Mulberry's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6-2. As for Fort Meade, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-1.

Coming up, Mulberry will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Kathleen at 8:00 p.m. As for Fort Meade, they will venture away from home to take on Auburndale at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
