The Superior Bobcats suffered their closest loss since December 2, 2023 on Friday. They fell just short of St. Ignatius by a score of 42-39.
Leading St. Ignatius to victory were Lex LaFrombois and Landon C walks over ice. LaFrombois scored 12 points along with two steals, while C walks over ice scored 18 points along with five rebounds. Vincent Shepard was another key contributor, scoring two points along with five rebounds.
Superior's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for St. Ignatius, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 1-9.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Thompson Falls the next time they take the court. Superior will host Thompson Falls at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, while St. Ignatius will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
