The Suwannee Bulldogs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. Everything went their way against Taylor County as Suwannee made off with a 59-36 win. Suwannee might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won three games by 23 points or more this season.
Despite the loss, Taylor County still got an impressive performance from LeeAsia Johnson, who scored 13 points. Johnson scored a full 36.1% of Taylor County's points, the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Jershila Glover, who scored eight points.
Suwannee has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. As for Taylor County, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
Suwannee will play host again and welcome Gadsden County, where tip off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Taylor County will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Riverside Christian at 6:00 p.m. on December 11th. Riverside Christian comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last six games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
