Argyle extended their postseason success on Thursday against Salem. They came out on top against the Generals by a score of 7-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 14-2 back in April.

Argyle is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Salem, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5.

Coming up, Argyle will challenge Eldred on June 7. The Scots' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Yellowjackets have averaged an impressive 8.2 runs per game this season. Salem does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
