The losing side was boosted by Eleanor Valkner, who scored 17 points along with eight rebounds and three blocks. She continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Elodia Peplinski, who scored six points along with six rebounds and five assists.
Even though they lost, Glen Lake were working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
Frankfort's win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-1. As for Glen Lake, their defeat ended a eight-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 2-2.
Frankfort was dealt a bruising 66-27 defeat at the hands of Glen Lake in their previous meeting back in March. Thankfully for Frankfort, Ruby Hogan (who scored 27 points along with six assists and six steals) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
