While Shiner put up some runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Fayetteville. The Comanches blew past the Lions 10-0. The Comanches might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by eight runs or more this season.

The victory (which was Shiner's third in a row) raised their record to 9-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Fayetteville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Shiner will challenge rival Schulenburg at 7:00 p.m. on April 7. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Comanches 0.6, the Shorthorns 2.9) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Fayetteville is set to square off against their familiar foe Flatonia at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
