The Riverview Sharks can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent match on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Brandon as Riverview made off with a 48-22 win. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 26-6.
Kayaunna Dean continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 12 points along with eight steals. Another player making a difference was Mikaylah Birch, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds.
Riverview's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-8. As for Brandon, their defeat was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 2-8.
Riverview will take on Middleton at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Florida (Middleton is ranked 320th, while Riverview is ranked 306th). As for Brandon, they will head out on the road to square off against King at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. King has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 1.
