They managed a 49-44 win over Eastside. Winning is a bit easier when you work as a team to rack up nine more assists than your opponent, as Taylor County did.
It was another big night for Louis Gaddy Jr., who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 15 rebounds. Those 15 rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. Trayce Abercrombie was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Eastside's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Quashawn Brittingham, who scored 14 points. Brittingham also grabbed two steals for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Davion Pugh, who scored nine points along with nine rebounds.
Taylor County's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Eastside, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
