The biggest upset of the week belonged to South Shore Vo-Tech, who took down 233rd ranked Holbrook/Avon, 42-26.
Upper Cape Cod RVT extended the longest winning streak in Mayflower - Small this week by beating Nantucket, 22-19. This was the team's sixth consecutive win.
Old Colony RVT's dynamic duo of Jacob Pringle and Matt Leblanc proved tough for West Bridgewater to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Pringle threw for 130 yards and two touchdowns and Leblanc had 100 yards receiving. Cole Bernier helped Old Colony RVT's passing attack out by catching three balls for 22 yards.
Jonathan Dumont was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 14 carries, he ran for 175 yards as Upper Cape Cod RVT fell to the Wildcats. Dylan Derby also contributed to the rushing game with 38 yards on the ground.
Old Colony RVT's Pringle and Leblanc have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Pringle has thrown for 909 yards this season, while Leblanc, a 5-foot-10 receiver, has nine catches for 231 yards. Mike Hernon's team's Dumont leads the league in rushing yards with 887.
A big matchup in Mayflower - Small this week will be when the Rams take on Bryce Guilbeault's team. Upper Cape Cod RVT is in first place, while the Cougars are in fifth place.
There should be lots of points scored when the Rams and Old Colony RVT face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, Upper Cape Cod RVT comes in having scored 139 this season, while the Cougars have scored 125. The Rams scored 22 points last week as they defeated the Whalers.
West Bridgewater was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from fifth to third in the league. Earlier in the week, Bill Panos' team defeated Old Colony RVT 34-14.
