The Ord Chanticleers lost against the Central City Bison back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Ord took a serious blow against Central City, falling 71-31. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Ord in their matchups with Central City: they've now lost six in a row.
Ord's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jace Geiser, who scored 7 points.
Ord's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Central City, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ord will take on West Holt at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully West Holt focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Friday. As for Central City, they will head out on the road to face off against Boone Central at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday.
