The Pillager Huskies will head out on the road to face off against the Pequot Lakes Patriots Monday. Pequot Lakes will need to watch out since Pillager has now posted big point totals in their last four contests.
The Huskies didn't have too much trouble with Menahga at home this past Friday as they won 78-67. It was another big night for Pillager's senior Spencer Schaefer, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 11 rebounds.
Meanwhile, the Patriots beat Park Rapids 57-49 this past Friday.
Pillager ended up a good deal behind Pequot Lakes when they played when the two teams previously met in March of last year, losing 58-39. The loss knocked Pillager out of the playoffs, so expect them to come at Pequot Lakes with a vengeful fire.
