The Delphi Community Oracles lost to the Western Boone Stars back in February of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. Delphi Community walked away with a 50-42 win over Western Boone. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Delphi Community.
Delphi Community's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Chase Almager, who scored 20 points along with five rebounds. Almager hasn't dropped below 20 points for three straight games. Josh Hartley was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with six assists.
Western Boone lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Tristyn Faulk, who scored 12 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Marcus Fortner, who scored eight points.
Delphi Community is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a massive bump to their 8-11 record this season. As for Western Boone, they dropped their record down to 3-16 with that loss, which was their ninth straight on the road.
Delphi Community will take on Sheridan at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sheridan has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 227 points over their last three games. As for Western Boone, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Cascade at 7:30 p.m.
