 On the hitting side, Somerset Academy - Canyons saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Sean Denitto, who  went 2-for-4 with a  stolen base and  an  RBI.
 On Royal Palm Beach's side,  the team  relied heavily on  Johnny Montgomery, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-1. Another player making a difference was  Robert Gonzalez, who  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 1-for-3.
 Somerset Academy - Canyons' loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Royal Palm Beach, their victory bumped their record up to 7-8.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Somerset Academy - Canyons is on the road again  on Friday to play Jupiter Christian at 4:30  p.m. As for Royal Palm Beach, they will  take on Dr. Joaquin Garcia at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday.
