Walsh extended the longest winning streak in A-8 South - Arkansas Valley (8 Man) this week by beating Swink, 66-24. The victory was the eighth in a row for the team.
Cheyenne Wells was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after losing to Hoehne. The Tigers came in at 24 in the state poll after placing at number 27 last week.
Holly's Christian Orozco and Porter Salisbury have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Orozco has thrown for 530 yards this season, while Salisbury, a 5-foot-11 receiver, has 26 catches for 375 yards. Wiley's Kody Wallace leads the league in rushing yards with 568.
Granada made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 311 from 365. The improvement was the result of 46-12 victory over McClave last week.
