The Scheck Hillel Community School Lions on the road again on Saturday and play against the Donna Klein Jewish Academy Eagles at 9:30 p.m. on January 27th.
Last Thursday, Scheck Hillel Community School came up short against Avant Garde Academy and fell 54-46.
Meanwhile, Donna Klein Jewish Academy scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They walked away with a 91-80 win over Sports Leadership & Management. The win made it back-to-back wins for Donna Klein Jewish Academy.
Donna Klein Jewish Academy can attribute much of their success to Tal Kessous, who scored 22 points, and Joshua Matheson, who scored 30 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Matheson has scored all season. Jason Lewin was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Scheck Hillel Community School dropped their record down to 0-8 with that loss, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for Donna Klein Jewish Academy, their win bumped their record up to 7-9.
Scheck Hillel Community School was able to grind out a solid victory over Donna Klein Jewish Academy when the teams last played back in February of 2020, winning 70-57. The rematch might be a little tougher for Scheck Hillel Community School since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
