Lucas Aillon Pomo was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. Alex Saurez also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.
As for Lyman Memorial, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-2. With that victory, they brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.
On Lyman Memorial's side, Connor Hawkins made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over seven innings while giving up four earned runs off four hits.
