Mallard Creek's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Rassell Young, who scored 20 points. Young continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Langston Boyd, who scored 17 points along with eight rebounds.
Maurio Hanson II was his usual excellent self, dropping a triple-double on 25 points, ten rebounds, and ten assists for Chambers. Tarris Bouie was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds.
Mallard Creek has not been sharp recently, as they've lost seven of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for Chambers, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-6.
