The Crooms Academy Panthers will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Geneva Knights at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Crooms Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They were outmatched by Halifax Academy at home and fell 74-41. Crooms Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-15.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Jayden Aristile, who scored 20 points. Another player making a difference was Maxim Micallef, who scored six points along with two blocks.
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Geneva, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 57-43 loss to Cornerstone Charter Academy on Friday. Geneva has not had much luck with Cornerstone Charter Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Crooms Academy now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Geneva, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.
