There's no place like home for Anselmo-Merna, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They blew past the Loomis Wolves 3-0 on Friday. The Coyotes not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since October 19, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

While Anselmo-Merna might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Loomis scored at least 20 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-20, 25-21.

Rhianen Myers paced Anselmo-Merna's offense, picking up 15 kills. Myers got some help from Lily Thornton and her 22 assists. Thornton was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Anselmo-Merna's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Loomis, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

After both having extra time off, Anselmo-Merna and Sandhills Valley will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Loomis, they have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Bertrand on the 13th.
