The Sunshine Bible Academy Crusaders's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight loss. They suffered a rough 49-24 defeat at the hands of Hitchcock-Tulare. Sunshine Bible Academy has not had much luck with Hitchcock-Tulare recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Several Crusaders players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Betra Amare, who scored five points along with seven steals and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Abby Hinman, who scored four points along with seven rebounds and five steals.
Sunshine Bible Academy has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season. As for Hitchcock-Tulare, their win bumped their record up to 3-8.
Sunshine Bible Academy will head out on the road to face off against Wolsey-Wessington at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hitchcock-Tulare, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Redfield at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Redfield is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
