Meanwhile, Hubbard's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Richards, falling 64-34. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Hubbard has suffered yet this season.
Dunbar's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 14-5. As for Hubbard, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 2-7.
Dunbar took their win against Hubbard in their previous meeting back in January of 2023 by a conclusive 67-42. The rematch might be a little tougher for Dunbar since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
