The Wakulla War Eagles will head out on the road to  face off against  the Godby Cougars  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Godby took a loss in their last  game and will be looking to turn the tables on Wakulla, who comes in off a win.
If Wakulla beats Godby with 30  points on Friday, it's going to be the  team's new lucky number: they've won their past two  matchups with that exact score. The War Eagles came out on top against Fort Walton Beach by a score of  30-22  on Friday. The War Eagles haven't had any issues with the Vikings recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive  victory against them.

 Owen Klees had another great game (as  he tends to do), throwing for 222 yards and three  TDs while completing 77.8% of his passes, and also rushing for 70 yards and one  score on only five carries. Wakulla is undefeated when  Klees posts three or  more  passing touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise.  Auvion Thomas also helped with two touchdowns in total.
 Wakulla didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut  Thomas.
 Meanwhile,  after a string of three wins, Godby's good fortune finally ran out  on Friday. They received a  blow  as they fell  17-0 to Niceville. The  contest marked the first time this season in which the Cougars were not able to get on the board.
 Godby now  has a losing record of 3-4. As for Wakulla, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.
We should be in store for an exciting game  as  the two teams have no problem gaining yardage. Wakulla has been on an offensive roll this season,  having  averaged 467.8  total yards per game. However, it's not like Godby struggles in that department as   they've been averaging  an even more impressive 350.4  total yards. With a pair of commanding offenses duking it out, the defenses are going to have their work cut out for them.
 Wakulla suffered a grim  27-7 defeat to Godby  in their previous matchup  back in October of 2024. Can the War Eagles avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
