Roncalli Catholic was the  2-1 winner over Conestoga when they last played one another  back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Crimson Pride fell just short of the Cougars by a score of  2-1 on Saturday. The Crimson Pride's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
 Ruth Cunningham paced Roncalli Catholic's offense, picking up ten kills. Cunningham got some help from  Addie Clarke and her 23 assists. Clarke also made an impact serving:  she shared the team lead in aces with  Martha Lampe, racking up two apiece.
Roncalli Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Conestoga, the  win was  the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-3.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Roncalli Catholic will head out to  take on South Sioux City  at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Conestoga, they will square off against Syracuse on Tuesday.
