After a string of three wins, the San Juan Broncos's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell 73-64 to American Heritage. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Loss or not, San Juan got some senior leadership from Anthony Done who scored 23 points along with nine assists and seven rebounds and Rj Dalley who scored 18 points. The match was Done's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jagger Nieves, who scored eight points along with six rebounds.
San Juan's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for American Heritage, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. San Juan and Monticello will face off at 7:00 p.m. on December 19th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Utah (Monticello is ranked 130th, while San Juan is ranked 110th). American Heritage and Lone Peak will face off at 7:00 p.m. on December 20th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully Lone Peak focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten two weeks ago.
