The Phillips Wildcats lost against the Curie Condors back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Phillips had to suffer through a rough 75-44 loss at the hands of Curie. Phillips has not had much luck with Curie recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
When it comes to explaining why Phillips lost, one person who can't be blamed is Elijah Harris. Despite the final result, he scored 9 points along with 5 rebounds and 5 steals. Michael White, Jr was another key contributor, scoring 7 points.
Phillips' loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Curie, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-1.
Phillips will head out on the road to face off against Kenwood at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Curie, they will square off against Downers Grove North at TBD on Sunday. Downers Grove North is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
