The Benbrook Bobcats will face off against the Tolar Rattlers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Benbrook has 12 straight victories, Tolar has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
It was a proper cat-fight when Benbrook took on Dunbar on Tuesday. The Bobcats put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 19-1 win. The Bobcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 16 games by six runs or more this season.

Bailey Shaw made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. What's more, she posted two strikeouts, the most she's had since back in April of 2024. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in both of her plate appearances with two runs.
In other batting news, Natalya Muzquiz and Camryn Bentley did most of the damage at the plate: Muzquiz went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs, while Bentley went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Bentley is on a roll when it comes to RBI, as she's now brought in three or more in each of the last four games she's played. Giuliana Lucero was another key player, going 1-for-2 with three stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI.
Benbrook always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .880. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Tolar lost 13-3 to Early on Tuesday.
Senne Imel made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one double. Another player making a difference was Kanyn Deaver, who went 1-for-2 with two runs.
Benbrook's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-8. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Tolar, their loss dropped their record down to 13-13.
Both Benbrook and Tolar just can't seem to miss. The Bobcats have been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.3 hits per game. However, it's not like Tolar struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 5.5 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Benbrook might still be hurting after the 6-0 defeat they got from Tolar in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Will the Bobcats have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
