The Pike County Bulldogs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They came out on top against Abbeville by a score of 77-67. The win was familiar territory for Pike County who now have three in a row.
Leading Pike County to victory were Kam Christian and Jyderian Burney. Christian scored 20 points, while Burney dropped a double-double on 20 points and 18 rebounds. The game was Burney's third in a row with at least ten points. Markelis Hobdy was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Pike County's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Abbeville, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pike County will be home for the holidays to greet Carroll at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Abbeville will take on Cottonwood at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
