Snow Canyon faced Wasatch in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Warriors fell 46-41 to the Wasps. The Warriors' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Snow Canyon's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Chaylee Andrews, who shot 56% from the field on her way to 13 points and seven rebounds. Thanks to that strong game, Andrews now owns an excellent 46.7% field goal percentage. Falynn Randall was another key player, putting up seven points in addition to five assists and three steals.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Wasatch to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mahala Speredon, who dropped a double-double with 20 points and 12 boards. The contest was Speredon's fifth in a row with at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Danielle Garner, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and ten rebounds.

Snow Canyon's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Wasatch, their victory bumped their record up to 8-1.

Snow Canyon has already played their next game, a 55-35 win against Timpview on the 13th. As for Wasatch, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 60-29 victory against Hurricane on the 13th.
