On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Manchester Township's defense and their five sacks. Kurtis Mayer was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up twohimself. He is becoming a predictor of Manchester Township's success: when he posts at least two sacks the team is undefeated (and 1-2 when he doesn't).
Point Pleasant Beach has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. As for Manchester Township, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.
