The Bainbridge-Guilford Bobcats fought the good fight in their overtime contest against the Greene Trojans on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 41-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trojans. Bainbridge-Guilford has not had much luck with Greene recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Several Bobcats players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jayslin Henderson, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Johnna Henderson, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Bainbridge-Guilford's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Greene, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bainbridge-Guilford will challenge Walton at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Greene, they will head out on the road to take on Bainbridge-Guilford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
