Bell Creek Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Caleb Sanders led the charge by dropping a double-double on 24 points and 15 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Sanders has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jermal Jones, who scored 21 points along with nine rebounds and five blocks.
Bell Creek Academy pushed their record up to 10-9 with that victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.7 points per game. As for IMG Academy Blue, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-11.
Bell Creek Academy will take on Westminster Academy at 9:00 p.m. on Friday. Westminster Academy has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 1,121 points over their last 16 contests. As for IMG Academy Blue, they will head out on the road to face off against Jordan Christian Prep on Thursday.
