Even though the Franklin Wildcats scored an imposing 59 points on Friday, the Miamisburg Vikings still came out on top. Miamisburg walked away with a 68-59 win over Franklin. That's another feather in the cap for Miamisburg, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kai Cook, who scored 19 points along with 7 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Christian Mcguire, who scored 10 points.
Miamisburg's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Franklin, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Miamisburg will take on Wayne at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Franklin, they will be playing at home against Waynesville at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
