Robinson had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against the Central Davidson Spartans by a score of 51-38 on Tuesday. The win was nothing new for the Bulldogs as they're now sitting on 16 straight.

Leading Robinson to victory were Camri Hobbs and Destiny Chambers. Hobbs went 5-for-8 to rack up 17 points and six boards, while Chambers almost dropped a double-double with 11 points and nine rebounds. Hobbs is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as she's posted one of at least 46% in the last 14 games she's played. Another player making a difference was Charlene McNeil, who posted eight points.

Robinson smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in three consecutive contests.

Several Spartans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Raegan McCarn, who earned eight points along with five assists and three steals. Logan Jordan was another key player, putting up 12 points and seven rebounds.

Robinson's victory was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 24-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.2 points over those games. As for Central Davidson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-13.

Coming up, Robinson will face off against Hibriten at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Robinson is facing Hibriten at the right time seeing as Hibriten is stuck on a four-game losing streak. Central Davidson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
