The La Habra Highlanders took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 56-21 win over the Northview Vikings. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Highlanders.

DJ Mitchell was a one-man wrecking crew as he threw for 184 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 71 yards and one TD on only eight carries. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in October of 2024. Kevika Mata'Utia- Martinez was another key player, rushing for 114 yards and one score on only 12 carries.

Isaiah really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 70 yards. Speaking of playmakers, who could forget Jaishon Bledsoe, who went all the way with a kickoff return for a touchdown.
La Habra's record is now 2-0. As for Northview, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
