DJ Mitchell had an outrageously good game as he threw for 184 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 71 yards and one TD on only eight carries. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in October of 2024. Kevika Mata'Utia- Martinez was another key player, rushing for 114 yards and one score on only 12 carries.

Northview's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Isaiah Lucero, who picked up 152 receiving yards and one touchdown, and Robert Lucero, who threw for 196 yards and one TD. Isaiah really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 70 yards. Jaishon Bledsoe got in on the action as well, returning a kick for a touchdown.
La Habra has also opened the season with a perfect 2-0 record. As for Northview, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
La Habra wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 41-14 win against Ayala on the 4th. As for Northview, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 22-16 victory against Glendora on the 5th.
