The Chambers Academy Rebels were the 46-42 winner over the Trinity Christian Eagles when they last played one another last Monday, but their luck changed this time around. Chambers Academy fell to Trinity Christian 45-40.
Trinity Christian can attribute much of their success to Brandon Riddle, who scored 27 points along with 4 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which Riddle has scored at least 25% of Trinity Christian's points. Another player making a difference was Connor Hammett, who scored 4 points along with 11 rebounds.
Chambers Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Trinity Christian, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 2-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chambers Academy won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Edgewood Academy at 6:00 p.m. on December 5th. Edgewood Academy is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak. As for Trinity Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Southern Prep Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
