Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Archbishop Bergan). They took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging an 88-29 victory over the Homer Knights. Archbishop Bergan has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 21 points or more this season.

Several Knights players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Junius Snowball, who posted eight points.

Archbishop Bergan's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Homer, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Archbishop Bergan will take on Omaha Nation at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Homer, they will square off against Pender at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pender will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Homer surely won't give up without a fight.
