Analisa Guerrero made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, firing off two home runs, three runs, and four RBI while going 4-for-4. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March of 2024.
In other batting news, Isabella Garza was incredible, firing off two home runs, three runs, and three RBI while going 2-for-2. That's the most home runs she has posted since back in April of 2024. Khloe Villanueva was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run and three RBI.
Antonian Prep always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .727. They are a perfect 11-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Antonian Prep pushed their record up to 16-7 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for TMI-Episcopal, they now have a losing record of 3-4.
Tuesday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. TMI-Episcopal hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .317. However, it's not like Antonian Prep struggles in that department as they've averaged .407. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
