Marlette's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They never let the Carman-Ainsworth Cavaliers get on the board and left with a 20-0 win. The Red Raiders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by nine runs or more this season.

Marlette moved to 4-5 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Carman-Ainsworth, they dropped their record down to 1-8 with the loss, which was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Marlette wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 5-3 win against Genesee Christian on the 28th. Carman-Ainsworth has also already played their next game (against Lapeer East), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
