The Foundation Christian Academy Panthers had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Florida College Academy on Saturday and snuck past 50-48. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Foundation Christian Academy also won the last time the pair played last Thursday.
It was another big night for Micah Sanders, who dropped a double-double on 31 points and 19 rebounds. That makes it 13 consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Foundation Christian Academy's points. Another player making a difference was Tyndale Pittman, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds.
Foundation Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 10-12. As for Florida College Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.
Foundation Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Florida College Academy will head out on the road to challenge Candlelight Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
