The victory made it two in a row for Mount Miguel and bumps their season record up to 2-4. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.5 runs over those games. As for Grossmont, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-9-1.
Grossmont's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Mount Miguel has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .516. It's a different story for Grossmont, though, as they've only averaged .357. Will they be able to contain Mount Miguel's hitters?
