The San Diego Jewish Academy Lions''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their sixth straight loss. Their rough 57-36 defeat to Foothills Christian might stick with them for a while. San Diego Jewish Academy has struggled against Foothills Christian recently, as their contest on Thursday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Kameron Brown was his usual excellent self, rushing for 253 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 10.5 yards per carry. Brown hasn't dropped below 100 rushing yards for six straight games. Another player making a difference was Ben Hernandez, who rushed for 137 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries.
Foothills Christian's defensive line stepped up as well, laying out the QB five times. The heavy lifting was done by Logan Hamilton and Hunter Hamilton who racked up four sacks between them.
San Diego Jewish Academy's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 1-6. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 6-3 Calvin Christian and 6-3 California Lutheran (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 65.3% over those games). As for Foothills Christian, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-2.
San Diego Jewish Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Foothills Christian also has no future games currently scheduled.
