Dover was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Lamar on Thursday. The Pirates were the clear victors by an 11-4 margin over the Warriors. The result was nothing new for the Pirates, who have now won ten matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Dover's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-5. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Lamar, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-11-1.

Looking ahead, Dover will be playing at home against Atkins at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lamar, they are taking a road trip to square off against Cedarville at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
