Calumet Christian got themselves on the board against Varsity Opponent on Saturday, but Varsity Opponent never followed suit. They breezed past Varsity Opponent to the tune of 36-0. The Patriots have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Varsity Opponent, too.
Calumet Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Larry Fairris, who threw for 208 yards and three TDs, and also punched in one touchdown on the ground. Jackson Gary helped Fairris out on the ground, rushing for 100 yards and a pair of scores.
